Last updated: September 14, 2026

Oddly Explained 4 U provides tools and workflows for creating, preparing, and publishing educational video content.

Information We Collect

When a user connects a supported social media account, we may receive information made available through that platform's authorized API. This may include an account identifier, display name, profile information, authorization tokens, and publishing permissions.

How Information Is Used

Information received through connected platforms is used only to provide requested functionality, including authenticating an authorized account, preparing content for publication, and publishing content through approved platform APIs.

Authentication Tokens

Authentication and refresh tokens may be securely stored in order to maintain an authorized connection to a supported platform. These credentials are not sold or provided to advertisers.

Video Content

Video, audio, caption, and related media files may be temporarily processed in order to create or publish content. Temporary media may be removed after successful publication.

Third-Party Platforms

When users connect services such as TikTok or YouTube, their use of those services remains subject to the third party's own terms, privacy policies, developer policies, and account rules.

Data Sharing

Oddly Explained 4 U does not sell personal information. Information is shared only when necessary to provide requested integrations, comply with applicable law, or protect the security and operation of the service.

Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain authorized integrations, satisfy legal requirements, or resolve technical and security issues.

Revoking Access

Users may revoke authorization through the applicable third-party platform. Revoking authorization may prevent connected publishing features from functioning.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect stored credentials, authorization tokens, and service information. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as the service and supported integrations change. The updated date displayed at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
